We understand the stresses of moving, this is why Steele & Co has entered the Self Move market, we also understand that van rental companies are plentiful, however to our knowledge no other rental company offers removal specification vehicles that come fully equipped for domestic removals.

What’s Different?

Our Vans come equipped with safe and secure loading ramps, which enables our client’s to walk in to the vehicle whilst carrying effects without having to place them down in order to operate a tail lift, this consideration in our fleet helps prevent unnecessary awkward lifting and stretching which may cause injury.

What do you get?

Included within the rental costs are two portable wardrobes for the movement of hanging clothes, furniture ties to secure the load safely, and soft transit blankets for wrapping furniture.

Self Move / Self store

Our Self Move vehicles are also built to hold our storage containers, we can therefore provide a Self Move and Self Store service all in one, this style of storage eliminates double handling, you basically load all of your effects directly in to the storage container and we’ll fork lift the container off when you return the vehicle.

Also Available!

In addition to this we are able to sell purpose made removal materials such as cartons, paper and tape. Lifting equipment such as trolleys and piano wheels are also available for hire.
